Fireworks are beautiful and they bring joy to People we can all understand that however there is absolutely no need for fireworks or ones that make the noise. As a society We have become very selfish individuals with no care whatsoever to what we are doing to our pets, to our wildlife. When will animals lives begin to matter to us? Or will they ever matter? What makes ourselves more Important? It's something I can't quite figure out or explain or begin to understand. 

Every year shops sell fireworks far too early and sell them longer than needed. Every year people let them off earlier and earlier with no care at all to those around them. Think for a second just a second out of your day how scared are the wildlife when you're setting them off? How scared are the pets when you're setting them off? It is unfair to put an animal through such strong fear just to have a good time for ourselves. Their lives matter just as much as ours. Would you let a child suffer? No you wouldn't would you let an adult suffer? No you wouldn't so why do we allow animals to suffer?! 

I wish for fireworks to be completely banned but I don't think that would ever happen however we can make a difference and get the ones that make sound banned for good they are unnecessary and cruel to animals if you're a caring person which I imagine you would be since you're reading this petition then please sign today and let your voice be heard we need to protect our pets and wildlife please let your voice be heard and together we can make a difference!

What harm can fireworks really do to animals I hear you ask well there's many. 

Fireworks are the most common fear known in dogs, they also cause fear in horses and livestock. Animals can also suffer physical injuries due to fireworks for example being involved in road traffic accidents whilst trying to run from them.

They can cause tinnitus, hearing loss and also long term hearing damage to animals like horses and dogs. 

They can cause a huge amount of stress in an animal which  could be fatal in extreme cases , they also contain chemicals which are dangerous to animals such as barium which is a metal used in fireworks which can cause muscle weakness, digestive issues, trouble breathing and nerve issues.

People lose their beloved pets due to them either by running away and never being found again or being hit by traffic trying to escape. All of this is what animals endure yearly without a second thought would you allow a human being to go through all of this? 

I don't think you would, animals can't speak up but we can speak up for them, we can be their voice! NOW is the time to act this has been going on far too long let's end animal suffering!
