GET ALEXI LALAS OFF OF WORLD CUP 2018 COVERAGE

We can all agree this tournament has been everything we could ask for in a World Cup so far. But despite the spectacular goals and upsets, there is one factor that makes this tournament borderline unbearable to watch in the US. And that is the unavoidable coverage by village idiot, Alexi Lalas.

Our country must rely on commentators for pregame insight, half-time adjustment discussion and post-game breakdowns, which puts America in a difficult situation when it's led by Mr. Lalas. His comments are uneducated, inaccurate, largely ignorant and constantly carried with an arrogant undertone. I sincerely feel bad for commentators who have to share the screen with him as he brings unnecessary animosity into the room to defend an unknowledgeable standpoint.

Simply put, apart from his contributions as a player, Alexi Lalas is a detriment to the development of the sport in this country and a large reason why our program is not taken seriously. HELP PUT AN END TO OUR MISERY BY SIGNING THIS PETITION.
