Get a Commencement for Lehman College C/O ‘20 & ‘21
The Issue
The Lehman College classes of 2020 & 2021 endured the pandemic, all the while maintaining grades that earned us the ability to graduate. And like many others, we accepted the fact that we might not be able to gather in person on South Field with our fellow class to have a commencement. We joined our live streamed ceremonies flipped our tassels in our homes.
However, thankfully, the world is beginning to adapt to our situation now, and many other colleges and universities are honoring the past classes with in person ceremonies. We also want to have that same privilege of being able to wear our caps and gowns with pride on our very own campus where we started and finished. To start at the Apex and walk the campus, reminiscing on the years we spent in our academic pursuits. Many have passed through struggles, some more than others, and got their degrees despite those hardships. These degrees were achieved in honor of family and friends, both living and passed on. The classes of 2020 & 2021 deserve our final hurrah!
