I am an original attendee of the 69 Woodstock festival and a supporter of Bethel Woods. I have appeared in several documentaries and many interviews concerning the impact the event has had on my life. I am writing to you to request a meeting (via phone or in person) concerning a matter we (Members of The Woodstock Nation) feel strongly about in regard to honoring past performers who have not been properly remembered in our estimation. I have a petition of over 500 names and growing which I would like to present to you outlining our proposal to do so with your support and cooperation. I truly believe that implementing this request and the publicity it would generate for Bethel Woods would be a positive impact on the efforts of Bethel Woods in gaining attention as a leader in preserving history and would generate added traffic to your venues. More than that it would honor those performers who gave so much to us their followers and our culture and who may be sadly fading from memory.
