ACTION: Celebrate Period Day with us on 28th May! shorturl.at/jCGJN

Hello all 317,566 of you,
I hope you’re having a nice week so far.
As you may know, Global Period Day is on the 28th May. We would love you to mark this important day with us!
You can do so in three ways:
1. Share your story of period stigma at school, college or university
We can't tackle a problem which we can't see. So, to solve period stigma we need to understand the real impact of it. You can help us showcase this impact by sharing your experiences of period stigma here. We're focusing on stories of period stigma in schools but any story would be amazing. We’re hearing lots about how you’re struggling to access period products and about students being banned from using the toilet during class.
2. Join our promo campaign
You're invited to join our promotion video which will help us gain more stories of period stigma. If you would like to, please film yourself (portrait) reading this script and send your video to info@sexedmatters.co.uk. We'll then combine all the videos to show how many people are coming together to tackle period stigma and we'll post this across our socials.
3. Join us in Downing Street on 28th May
We will deliver these stories to the powers that be in Number 10 Downing Street on 28th May, along with a series of policy requests to make period dignity a reality for everyone. Join us! We're meeting at 2pm outside the Southbank Centre. You can find more information here including how to request transport support.
We've been working with lots of amazing organisations on this campaign, including Irise (which has spearheaded this event), Sex Ed Matters, Love Your Period and Freedom4Girls. We can't wait to come together on 28th May!
Thank you and have a lovely rest of your week,
Laura :)
