Join the period parade on 28th May from 2pm at Southbank Centre to celebrate #WorldPeriodDay!

Hello all 317,566 of you,
I hope you had a great weekend.
As you may know, World Period Day is this Sunday, on the 28th May. We would love you to mark this important day with us!
We've been collecting lots of testimonials of period shame over the past six weeks and we're going to deliver these to Number 10 Downing street on Sunday to prove how widespread the shame is and how much it impacts young people in particular. Alongside these testimonials, we're going to ask for a series of policy changes which will make period products more accessible and less stigmatised.
You're invited to join us!
We're all meeting at 2pm outside the Southbank Centre London. We will walk together in a period parade to Downing Street, where we will deliver our testimonials. Everything should be wrapped up at 4pm latest.
You can find more information and register for travel support here if you're based outside London.
We've been working with lots of amazing organisations on this campaign, including Irise (which has spearheaded this event), Sex Ed Matters, Love Your Period and Freedom4Girls.
We can't wait to come together on 28th May!
Thank you and have a lovely rest of your week,
Laura :)
