Happy 2017 amazing people!! We achieved A LOT in 2016. We successfully pressured key political figures, including Mr Osborne, into saying the word ‘tampon’ (possibly the highlight of my year), secured a Government donation of £15m to female-focused charities, and finally, we made history by pushing tampon-tax-ending legislation through parliament. BOOM. And today we were mentioned on BBC Women’s Hour for our gender equality campaigning! Thank you for your amazing support and campaigning. We kicked ass in 2016. Let’s make sure we continue to do so in 2017! Here are some of our upcoming campaigns for 2017: 1) End Period Poverty. Period. Our new campaign was launched late last year to increase the number of sanitary products that are donated to homeless shelters. It’s time to help end period poverty. Period!
