Hello all 317,082 of you!!! Happy International Women's day! There are lots of Internet campaigns that I thought you might like to know about. They have all been launched to celebrate this year's theme: parity. Here are just a few: MARIE CLAIRE MAGAZINE has launched a great campaign called 'Show your place' (as opposed to 'know your place'). To get involved and take pride in your everyday life, post a photo to your Twitter, Facebook or Instagram feed that represents your day-to-day life with the hashtag #ShowYourPlace. A representative of Marie Claire told me: "We want to show women as parents, as doctors, as journalists, as labourers, as refugees, as farmers, as plumbers, make up artists… Everything. It's a call to arms to show that women be anything – but also a means of highlighting the discrimination faced by so many women around the world". WOMEN FOR WOMEN UK have also launched a fab campaign called 'she inspires me'. To get involved, celebrate the huge achievements that women have made by sharing the stories of women who inspire you on social media. Simply add the hashtag #SheInspiresMe.
