Hello all 315,406 of you lovely people!!!!! Our Government has been pocketing some £15 million a year from tampon tax since it was introduced in 1973. But not any more. Osborne announced that he would be donating this huge sum of money to charities when he launched his 'tampon tax fund' late last year. The fund's first application deadline is set for TOMORROW! If you are a relevant charity (details attached below) and want make sure that tampon tax is put to good use, then complete your application by or on the 22nd February 2016. More applications will be considered after this deadline, however future funding dates have not yet been announced. To be considered for the current bidding round, applicants should submit their detailed proposal by Monday 22 February 2016 to TamponTax.Fund@HMTreasury.gsi.gov.uk.
