France has done it! Why can’t we?

France has just passed a new law banning plastic packaging on most fruit and vegetables! The law comes into effect on New Year’s Day. It includes all fruit and vegetables excluding Processed, chopped or larger fruit and veg. This will significantly reduce France’s amount of plastic waste being thrown out, as more than a third of fruit and vegetables are wrapped in plastic. Together we can make a difference!
