The Abbott government, led by Attorney-General, George Brandis, wish to change the Environmental Protection and Biodiversity Conservation (EPBC) act to give mining companies even more chance of destroying Australia's beautiful environment in their quest to mine, then burn even more climate changing coal. 

They wish to strip rights of objection from the community, and give fossil fuel companies even more power in this already lopsided contest.
