For those of you who have ever watched the anime Rurouni Kenshin, this is a good example of a main character getting the happy ending he deserves for going through hardship much of his life. Like Jack, Kenshin has known a life full of battle and tragedy, but at the end of the story, Kenshin got to live a peaceful life with the woman he loves. He even got a child. Jack deserves the same.
