Pieta House HQ have taken the unilateral decision to close Pieta House North West in Letterkenny,  Co. Donegal. This centre has seem more than 500 people pass through its doors last year, 2019. It is only opened 3 years and was expected to stay opened for a longer period. This loss to the wider community cannot be underestimated. It will have devastating consequence to families of those bereaved by suicide and those seeking help for suicidal ideation. We cannot and will not allow this to happen. We must prevent this closure by petitioning Pieta HQ and ensuring that this decision must be person centred and not just for financial reasons. So I ask you the public to sign this petition.
