As we all know, the incredible new mid-engined C8 Corvette was recently unveiled. We were all hoping that the working-man brand of Chevrolet would accommodate for those of us who don't so much care about a lap time from a professional driver and care more about the day-to-day enjoyment of a sports car and were really looking forward to the prospect of a modern mid-engine V8 powered supercar with a manual (something that hasn't been available for over 10 years and, when available, cost in excess of $200,000). 

This petition is meant for people who are considering buying the C8 Corvette or people who WOULD be considering it if it were available as a manual. GM claims that including a manual would mean less room in the footwell leading to poor ergonomics, and common sense says that if an H-pattern shifter were integrated, it would do away with the storage area in the center console. If you can see past those minor downfalls and would still reserve your money for a manual, please sign this petition.
