Gemini rail close wheel shop department

On the 10th July Gemini announced its closing the wheel shop dept' this will put about 50 people out of work..two months ago gemini rail was online boasting about how well the wheel shop is doing and how the workforce is growing stronger and has a growing work book. Its said the the famous wolverton works wheel shop is a great money making dept'. How ever Gemini seem to have a trend of closing down and getting rid of work sites and departments just this year in January they closed the Glasgow works putting 100s out of work again that was another historic site.

I am not shocked that gemini are doing this as they don't care about the site or the jobs it creates. Plans to demolish the site will see blocks of flats on the wheel shop site. i think closing the wheel shop is another part of this demolition plan it just seems strange why they would close such a busy department.
