Bedankt om je stem te laten horen, op korte tijd zitten we al aan bijna 500 handtekeningen! Blijf de petitie gerust delen met vrienden, collega's en medestudenten.

We laten je graag weten dat er ook een vreedzame betoging zal plaatsvinden op woensdagavond 28 februari. Waarom? Omdat we ongeacht het resultaat van de petitie willen laten horen dat er in onze mooie stad geen plaats is voor haat en verdeeldheid! 

De standpunten en uitspraken van Dries van Langenhove, NSV en andere extreemrechtse organisaties zijn in strijd met de diversiteit en solidariteit die Leuven kenmerken. Daarom willen we reageren op de groeiende aanwezigheid van extreemrechts en tegen de normalisering van hun ideeën. 
We willen tegelijkertijd tonen dat Leuven een stad is met een breed middenveld en geëngageerde inwoners die solidariteit voorop stellen en waar mensen voor elkaar zorgen ongeacht gender(identiteit), afkomst, inkomen, geloofsovertuiging, huidskleur, nationaliteit, seksuele oriëntatie, ... .We zijn trots op onze progressieve, diverse stad, en we willen dat zo houden! 

We verzamelen om 19u30 op het Ladeuzeplein in Leuven voor een vreedzame, verbindende betoging. De betoging is aangevraagd bij Stad Leuven.

Thank you for making your voice heard, in a short time we are already at almost 500 signatures! Feel free to keep sharing the petition with friends, coworkers and fellow students.

We would like to let you know that there will also be a peaceful demonstration on Wednesday evening, 28 February. Why? Because regardless of the outcome of the petition, we want to make it heard that there is no place for hatred and division in our beautiful city! 

The views and statements of Dries van Langenhove, NSV and other far-right organisations are contrary to the diversity and solidarity that characterise Leuven. Therefore, we want to react against the growing presence of the far-right and against the normalisation of their ideas. 
At the same time, we want to show that Leuven is a city with a broad civil society and committed inhabitants who put solidarity first and where people care for each other regardless of gender (identity), origin, income, religion, skin colour, nationality, sexual orientation, ... .We are proud of our progressive, diverse city, and we want to keep it that way! 

We meet at 19h30 at the Ladeuze square.
