When will the UK government acknowledge a Palestinian State?

Why does the new Labour government align with the right-wing extremist Israeli government? The Israeli government's repeated barbaric actions and atrocities contradict democratic, inclusive, liberal, and peaceful values. I thought nothing could shock me about this war anymore. However, pictures from the UN-run Al Fakhoura school showing 200+ killed are grotesque.

Toxic war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu knows once a ceasefire is called he will be out of office, so it's in his interest to scaremonger and continue. His intentions and actions are not pure. Each day extremist Benjamin Netanyahu and the IDF continue with their barbarism they feed antisemitism across the world. At this time, Netanyahu is using the war to expedite illegal settlement expansion, showing disregard for international law, the remaining hostages and, snubbing his nose at American and International leaders. He has no interest in peace. It's clear he wants to drag Iran into a war with America.
Through its continued government action, Israel has now become a pariah state.
Israeli leaders are enacting their aim of clearing Gaza's population and forcing people to leave as refugees or die. In my eyes, what is happening in Gaza right now is every bit as bad as the Nazi Holocaust. Who would have thought descendants of Holocaust victims would be capable of such barbarity?
After months of conflict, trust in the West has been completely shattered by the hypocrisy and inaction of Western leaders. International criminal law is being broken.
A Gaza ceasefire is inevitable. The internationally recognised Statehood of Palestine is, inevitable. A return to pre-1967 land borders is eventually inevitable.
Why has the UK not banned arms sales to Israel? Why is the UK complicit in enabling genocide? Having seen repeated blatant war crimes why do we continue to offer iron clad support to Israel?

After 397 days of war, more than 43,824 Palestinians have now been murdered, of which approximately 16,500 were children.
The West Bank has seen 763 murdered, including 166 children, with more than 6,500 injured. More than 6,000 people have been illegally detained since October 7th.
More than 101,223 in Gaza are severely injured, and approximately 10,000 people are missing, including around 1,700 children, still, Keir Starmer won't support an unconditional ceasefire and stop the supply of weapons to Israel.
Israel now has more than 9,312 Palestinian prisoners. Over 5,000 of these prisoners are being held under illegal administrative detention. This is illegal under international law.
Following the unlawful Hamas attack, Israel has seen 1,139 murdered. The fate of circa 97 Hamas innocent Israeli hostages is unknown.
It's estimated that around 333 medics have been murdered, and around 122 ambulances damaged or destroyed. UNRWA has seen 233 workers murdered in Israeli air strikes.
180 media workers/journalists have now been killed according to the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ).
We, the signers of this petition have eyes and ears and acknowledge 16 years of siege in Gaza, crimes against humanity, decades of illegal occupation, illegal separation walls, checkpoints, oppression, and collective punishment, and we see the forced displacement and dehumanization of approximately 1.7 million people living in Gaza now homeless, starving, and afraid. 47% are children. 93% of the total population in Gaza is now experiencing deliberate starvation through repeated aid restrictions by the Israeli government.
We've seen this numerous times before in other Israeli conflicts. They act with impunity because world powers turn a blind eye and don't call out their false narrative and war crimes. The excessive and random destruction of property and infrastructure can only be viewed as collective punishment designed to grind down the population as a whole and make areas uninhabitable. This is a war crime.
We also see the increase in illegal land grabs and settlements, punishments, imprisonment, and killings going on in plain sight within the West Bank by the illegal Israeli settlers, supported by the IDF without any accountability or justice.
There is no safe place in Gaza or the West Bank.
America has supplied and subsequently resupplied Israel with 15,000 plus bombs, and 71,000 155mm shells since October 7th. Having seen how these weapons have predominately killed women and children in heavily populated areas, how does America reconcile its complicity with genocide? Until recently, America and Britain continued irresponsibly using their Veto at the UN Security Council.
Despite all the continued killing of women and children, America as of April 2024 has signed off a new 26.4B dollar package for Israel. Sick, totally sick. August 2024 another 20B provided by America despite all the horrendous daily scenes.The U.S., Israel's biggest ally and weapons supplier, has sent Israel more than 10,000 highly destructive 2,000-pound bombs and thousands of Hellfire missiles since the start of the Gaza war in October 2023.
Any country now supplying weapons to the apartheid Israel regime is complicit in genocide, oppression, land theft, war crimes and perpetuation of Gaza's catastrophic food shortage.
The British government continues in its failure to recognise that Israel is blatantly in breach of International law, this despite recent ICJ rulings.
Millions of British people have peacefully marched for many months across London, and many other cities asking for a ceasefire. Keir Starmer chooses to ignore these voices and persist in stupidly pledging unwavering support to the Israeli regime and its continued war crimes. Shame on you, and any politician who is not calling this out for what it is; Genocide.
Generations of families have been bombed out of existence whilst sheltering for safety, and known places of shelter are targeted repeatedly.
In 2024, after 397 days of war, if a supposed Western democracy and its leader Keir Starmer, can stand by, and not ask for an unconditional ceasefire then we the signers ask that you resign immediately.

5/7/2024 - In the interest of transparency, this petition originally asked Rishi Sunak to resign over the government's lack of action concerning Gaza. However, after careful thought, rather than closing the petition today following Keir Starmer's appointment as Prime Minister, I felt it important to keep the pressure on. Whilst new to the role, Keir Starmer was careful to mirror image the conservative stance for the duration of the war thus far. Let's hope his election and the overwhelming majority will finally enable him to do the right thing.
