The 12th day of evidence in the inquiry into people who were abused while in the care of Nottinghamshire councils has heard today (Tuesday) from two senior figures at the county council.
The Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse (IICSA) at the Kia Oval in Kennington is looking into historic child sexual abuse in the city and county.
Today the inquiry heard from Steve Edwards, service director for children families and social work, and Coun Philip Owen, chair of the children and young people’s committee.
There are a total of 15 days of hearings taking place in the inquiry.
