California Gymnastics Centers Unite, Launch New Site to Help Reopen and Reclassify

Reopen and Reclassify California Gymnastics Centers, a unified voice for gymnastics centers across the state, is proud to announce the launch of their new website at www.ReopenGymnastics.com.  This new site features information and updates on their mission to allow the safe reopening of California gymnastics centers through the implementation of COVID-19 safer recommendations.

“We are thrilled to be launching this website, which allows California gymnastics centers, their coaches, athletes, and community members to come together, gain access to resources, and stay up to date with important news and announcements,” said Christopher Perkins, Reopen and Reclassify California Gymnastics Centers representative.  “This new website lets us post updates as they come in, keeping our more than 250 gymnastics centers across the state informed on key topics affecting the reopening of our businesses.”

Just last week Reopen and Reclassify California Gymnastics Centers launched a Change.org petition, receiving over 12,000 signatures in less than a week.  The petition, which can be seen at change.org/reopengymnastics, has garnered support from all 50 U.S. states, as well as international support from 34 countries spanning the world.

“In addition to valuable resources for gymnastics center owners, our website also features template letters to send to local, county, and state officials, which we are encouraging all members of our community to send in,” Perkins continues.  “By bringing athletes, parents, owners, and community members together, and sharing their voice with their local representation, our hope is that our calls for help will not go unnoticed.”
