The Compton Kidz Club is partnering with Green 4 U and the Lakers Youth Foundation to BAN all plastic usage at KING DREW MAGNET HIGH SCHOOL. King Drew Magnet High School is located in Compton, a city that has struggled with access to clean drinking water in its neighborhoods and surroundings. The neighborhood's ongoing pollution has had an impact on both young children and adults. Our mission is to have King Drew be the first LAUSD school to eliminate and BAN the use of plastic and do our part to improve the environment in the ongoing fight against climate change. Single-use plastic is one of several obstacles to our planet's long-term viability. We're ready to take on the challenge head on and continue to build a more sustainable future.
