I am the biological mother of my son Zachariah Duffie who was wrongfully taken from me in 2015. I have never been on drugs nor have ever been drug tested in the courts. I have never been convicted for a crime as an adult and I have held a job for 6 years. I have lived in my own residence for 5 years. The biological father has never showed up a day in court and waved his parental rights to his parents. But I never did and I never agreed to. I have been fighting a very long court battle for 7 years. I have taken my case to the California Second District Court Of Appeals and still denied. I know I am 1 out of millions of parents in the world fighting for their children and everyone has a story. But I humbly  ask that you take the time to help gain attention to my case.  My son will be 8 this year and I've done my best to give him birthdays parties, celebrate holidays, and give him care under the constraints of the courts. Every effort, progress and  step that I've taken has been overlooked. My sons paternal grandparents were given guardianship over my son and they abused their temporary gaurdianship power to gain permanent gaurdianship. I primarily blame the court for not holding the Gaurdians accountable for their countless bad behavior that went unpunished. I blame the court for protecting a GAURDIANSHIP more than protecting THE CHILD. We've seen cases like that this year with the #freebritanny movement. If we can all pull together to boycott the constraints of  gaurdianships this will help the lives of so many who are silenced and abused due to a gaurdianship being in place. It's obvious the court system DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO HANDLE GAURDIANSHIPS. and probate court should never touch another child/family case on the face of this earth. On top of all it, The justice system  still holds prejudices against single parents,  race, age, intellectual ability, status and many other things that have nothing to do with the ability to parent. Let's face it, It isn't in the best interest of the child it's in the best interest of money, tax dollars at the end of the day. It's about comparing and battling what the next parent has over the other or in my case what the grandparents have over the biological mother.  I am asking that the WORLD helps me hold the justice system accountable.
