Students's (faculty and workers) health must be a priority at all times. As a high ranking University everyone's health depend on healthy air. The official message sent by "experts" of UCD states;  "The forecasts are trending toward air quality improvements by Friday, which means we anticipate the campus would be open on Friday" (11/16/2018).

However, The United States Environmental Protection Agency/AirNow, Yolo-Solano air management quality district and AQICN.org (unfortunately) show likeliness of "Non-improvement" based on satellite imagery and environmental air analysis. As now the Air Quality Index (AQI) observed at 18:00 PST is 156 considered "Unhealthy". We hope these fires end soon in order to recover and rebuild our communities throughout CA, but the inaccuracy and lack of preparedness in such cases by UCD needs to stop.

No more "We are all learning together..."  or  "I always try to do the right thing" excuses. We need REAL leadership. Leaders with visions and ready to embrace difficulties and uncertainties with COURAGE.
