Please tell Garden City Mayor John Evans to renew the city's contract with the Idaho Humane Society for the good of our animals. Tell him that our animals are as much a part of the community as the people who love them.

Garden City is not properly equipped to handle the lost, sick, feral, dangerous and over-populated numbers of animals and pets that we have in our developing city. The Humane Society is.

The city's attempts to save money at the expense of our beloved animal population are inappropriate and harmful. The animals and community need the Idaho Humane Society's services.
