Thank you for your support of this campaign and adding your name to this petition. We have really appreciated the level of support we received.
At the time we presented this petition to WCC Councillors and officers we had over 1300 signatures!
It was really important that Councillors heard directly from the community so we are grateful to those of you who shared your reason for signing. We used some of the great comments from Karori residents explaining why they supported the KEC being finished in our social media campaign and in the presentation we provided to Councillors.
It is now time to close this petition.
The total signatures signing this petition now sits at over 1400! We ran a paper based version of the petition, from two Karori locations, for community members who were unable to access the online platform.
Many thanks again for supporting and demonstrating to WCC there is wide community support to FUND, FINSH & OPEN Karori Event Centre.
