CALLING ALL SAN DIEGANS, SANDIEGO BUSINESSES, AND SAN DIEGO CITY! Are you tired of paying the highest utility prices in the NATION!? So am I! It's just plain wrong that a for-profit monopoly is allowed to rob the good citizens of San Diego. SDGE has raised the rates consistently over the past two years, they are lowering solar credits, and just in January, they raised electricity prices by 15%. There simply is no justifiable reason for these rates. Every single San Diegan, regardless of the political party, race, demographic, or income level; we're ALL affected! How long are we willing to let them drain our pockets?

We need to put an end to this price-gouging for-profit monopoly now. The culture and soul of San Diego are at stake. If we allow this to continue, a majority of San Diegans simply won't be able to afford to live here. Businesses won't be able to survive. The San Diego that we all know and love will simply cease to exist. Did you know that a quarter of San Diegans are already behind on their bill? This pay strike is a natural consequence of price-gouged rates.

We need to send a message to our local and state officials that these rates are UNACCEPTABLE. Send that message by taking away the only thing the CPUC, SEMPRA, and SDGE care about - their precious profits. These price-gouged rates derived from a for-profit monopoly are immoral and wrong.
