Dear FRIENDS of ASCENTÉ, Thank you once again for your support! As expected, even though the Washoe County Planning Commission approved the Ascenté 225 home subdivision on June 6th, the Opposition Group filed an appeal which kicks it up to the Board of County Commissioners. The hearing is expected to be scheduled in late July or early August. To repeat last week’s battle cry, WE NEED EVERYONE’S SUPPORT NOW MORE THAN EVER! Please get the word out. I will send out more information as I receive more specific information in the coming days. I have spoken to many of you who have already signed our petition and our numbers are growing. For those of you who have asked, “What else can I do?” There are lots of things you can do. Please email me at christi@YIMBYnation.org and I will offer suggestions.
