FUSD uses the same pattern to avoid to liability with public records requests.

• A public records request is submitted.
• A letter is received from the law firm saying something like - your requests can be granted, but we need an extension on the time allotted to get the record(s).  They claim it's because they need to work with different departments to gain the information.
• During the extension the law firm and FUSD do not use the time to pull the request(s). They look for a loophole to deny it.
• Letter goes out to the PRR requester with a denial due to whatever loop hole FUSD has found.

This is how our tax dollars are spent. FUSD wastes our time and money instead of make corrections and moving on. The results of these patterns have cost the FHS their holistic aquatics program and FUSD DOES NOT CARE THAT THESE STUDENTS HAVE MARGINALIZED.
