Several advocates have submitted public records requests for various records pertaining to this.  Requests have ranged from record verification to answering questions. We believe that FUSD will stonewall and block many of these requests as they continue to avoid making corrections.

We also believe that this has not been corrected because FUSD leaders are power hungry and make decisions to feed their ego's. Coach Lopez and Coach Birkle were walk on coaches that asked for essential equipment, a hostile free work environment, and to prioritize kids. Because of their title FUSD leaders believe employees in lower positions should just take whatever poor decisions they made and stay in their "lane". We believe these warped leaders have chosen not to make corrections as a way to teach Coach Lopez a lesson for her expectations. Not only is this a tell tale sign of poor leaders, it marginalizes kids.

Every channel explored from the site all the way up through the district has failed our kids. I mean every channel as the quest for essential equipment began in 2019 !!!! Two years later, after the site FAILED, a community member escalated it to district officials. Once that escalation occurred, Coach Lopez and Coach Birkle endured more instances of retaliation until they both quit under duress. 

FUSD the only thing you have taught us is that you do not care about kids and feel you are above the law.
