One of our advocates received a response from one of the board members, Valerie Davis. The summary of her response that she, along with the other board members are concerned about this situation. She then added two district employees to the thread as the ones who could help with this. Still nothing has been corrected, but at least it wasn't the generic constituent services response.

Here is the advocates response to Valerie, the board, and the two FUSD employees -

Valerie - I appreciate your response, unfortunately the situation remains the same. It's been over a month and several disappointing petition updates with still no action. It's absurdity that a district like FUSD continues to let this slide. Advocates like myself, will not let this go because the district is incompetent. It's time or board members outside of the FHS area to step in for these kids.

The fact that constituent services has been sharing incorrect information, like the facilities being corrected when the scoreboard looks like it does, is yet another reminder of how poorly the district has handled this situation. All it has done is remind us that FUSD allowed this to happen and confirms the first hand accounts of what happened.

What will it take for FUSD to correct the poor decisions made? I will share this with the mom who started the petition to remind her there are voting tax payers who support her cause.

Trustee Levine - Your lack of response in this situation speaks volumes about your willingness to stand up for the marginalized kids in your area. You are not fit to serve them. Until you take a strong open stance supporting this cause, voters like myself, will be a hindering force to your reelection. Plenty of time has passed for correction. The inaction speaks volumes about the priorities of those charged with these kids welfare.

Please continue to share this petition. We are getting closer to 1,000 signatures.
