Thank you to everyone who has sent letters to the FUSD board. FUSD continues to stonewall advocates with generic responses from constituent services. I have it on good authority from an internal source that is just FUSD’s normal operating procedure. Never to admit fault, stonewall, and ignore so it goes away. THIS SITUATION WILL NOT JUST GO AWAY. Please continue to send your letters to - boardmembers@fresnounified.org We need to continue to create and maintain a paper trail of the lengths gone to for resolution. IT’S ALSO IMPORTANT TO NOTE THIS OPENLY PLAYED OUT, IT’S OBVIOUS WHO IS AT FAULT.
Advocation recap -
- Female coaches speaking up for injustices. Both received so much harassment and retaliation they resigned under destress.
- Parents letters to the former principal and constituent services. No corrective action taken.
- Four board meetings with advocate speakers, all ignored.
- Letters to the current FHS principal have been sent along with meeting requests.
- My husband was sent to meet with the athletic director. He couldn’t even look him in the eye; he was so ashamed of what happened.

- Dozens of letters sent. Some ignored, those who have received a response received a generic boilerplate.

It’s ludicrous that advocates have to go to such lengths just to have a holistic program for their children restored. FUSD really dismisses their #KidsFirst stance.
