It would be an understatement to say that the 2024 swim season was a disappointment.  Here is a re-cap -

• Boys only had three swimmers.  Not even enough for a relay event.
• Girls only had one swimmer.
• FUSD pays three mediocre coaches to coach four athletes.
• No morning practices.
• No fundraisers.
• No team bonding.
• No mention of opportunities during the Summer. 

My son, a freshman, deserves a much better experience than this!  FUSD elected officials, FUSD leadership, and FHS leader should be working to make the necessary changes for a holistic program to operate out of FHS.  It’s so disheartening to still be battling this issue.  FUSD needs to do better for our kids and OUR future.
