I can't help but notice the marketing coming from FUSD regarding attendance. Attendance is a big issue within FUSD and has been for some time. It will require a lot more than some social media posts to correct. What really grinds my gears is the FACT that during Coach Lopez's tenure, her coaching staff ensured her athletes were attending class. If they weren't coaches would team up to walk the athlete to class. 

The recent news regarding the superintendant search and petition to persuade the FUSD to open the search up the search nationwide has generated a petition, several board speakers, and news attention. These efforts have persuaded the board to open up the search. This aquatics situation has also generated news, multiple board meetings, several reviews have been left for the other club, and this petition has surpassed the one above.  THIS IS THE COMMUNITY FUSD BOARD MEMBERS ARE CHARGED WITH SERVING. WHY HASN'T IT BEEN CORRECTED??? Too much of what happened played out openly, making it obvious as to what happened.

Please consider emailing the FUSD board to remind them that you support this situation being corrected. Our students deserve to come first at their school. Period. End of discussion.  Email - boardmembers@fresnounified.org
