Thank you to everyone who signed our petition. Unfortunately, despite our efforts, Clackmannanshire Council has gone ahead and increased council tax by 5.6%.

This decision puts even more pressure on local families already struggling to make ends meet. Many households will face the painful reality of choosing between heating, food, or other essentials.

We know from local statistics that:

Around 1 in 4 children in Clackmannanshire are living in poverty.
The area remains among Scotland’s most income-deprived communities.
Food banks in Clackmannanshire are seeing increasing demand as more families struggle.
