Freeze Council Tax in Clackmannanshire for 2026 Howdy Partners,
The outlaws at Clackmannanshire Council are at it again. They’ve proposed a 5.6% council tax hike, right after last year’s 13% stick-up, while some councillors lined their own pockets with 40%+ pay rises and the Chief Executive rode off with a £32k boost.
Meanwhile, we’re left with bins collected once a month, 6% rent hikes, and services shrinking faster than a desert watering hole. The only thing untouched? Their pay, of course.
The next showdown is on 27th February at the budget meeting. This is our chance to make some noise before they ride off with even more of our hard-earned gold. Every signature, every email counts — we gotta make sure these outlaws know we’re watching.
