For those who are just joining Maddesyn's freedom campaign, she accepted a plea deal out of fear of the unknowns of a jury trial in which she would've been facing up to 43 years. However, it is absolutely possible for the federal prosecutors to withdraw the charges against Maddesyn, and that is what we will continue to demand.
