The Israeli Public Prosecution informed the defence team for the child prisoner Ahmad Manasra that last night (13/6/2022) the Israeli Prison Authority transferred Ahmad Manasra to Ramleh Prison Hospital due to his deteriorating mental health without disclosing further details.

We were informed that the prison doctor had issued an order to transfer Manasra to the prison hospital for a period of ten days. Accordingly;  This confirms, what we previously warned about, that solitary confinement will exacerbate his already severe mental health condition. If the Israeli authorities ignore the search for alternative solutions to solitary confinement, this will harm the safety and health of the child, Manasra.

Accordingly, we hold the Israeli authorities fully responsible for any compromising, God forbid, the safety and health of the child prisoner.
