Every day, at the Morrisons in Harrow's Trident Point branch, this pigeon is fighting for survival, desperately trying to find a way out and clinging to whatever life it has left. The sight is heartbreaking, and I can no longer stand by without taking action.

Pigeons, like all living creatures, deserve compassionate treatment and respect. This matter is not just about one bird; it is about the moral obligation we as humans have to prevent suffering whenever possible. Many of us who shop at Morrisons care deeply about our environment and the wildlife that coexists with us.

Pigeons are incredibly resilient birds, known for their intelligence and ability to adapt to urban life. Despite this, even a bird with such fantastic survival skills cannot withstand starvation and confinement without consequence. Trapped within the store, this pigeon is being deprived of its natural ability to seek food and water, a fundamental aspect of its survival.

There are simple and effective solutions to resolve this situation humanely. Morrisons could employ trained wildlife professionals to safely capture and release the pigeon. Alternatively, temporary barriers could be set up at the entrance to guide the pigeon out without disrupting the store's operations.

This situation is urgent and requires prompt attention. A swift response from Morrisons will demonstrate their commitment to ethical and socially responsible practices that align with the values of their community.
