Das Problem

On February 14 at 8:26 p.m., Sina Shams was brutally dragged from his apartment and arrested by the Islamic government in Iran. This happened because he had the courage to participate in demonstrations against the terrorist regime. His last message to his family via voice message was: “If I don't get in touch, then you know they've taken me.” These words reflect an oppressive reality faced by many in Iran.

Sina is now in solitary confinement, a form of quarantine that often means imminent execution under this regime. He is not the only innocent person paying a high price for simply protesting against oppression. Thousands of political prisoners in Iran live in constant danger of becoming victims of state arbitrariness, their voices silenced and their lives extinguished.

We, the friends and supporters of Sina, appeal to the international community, human rights organizations, and all those committed to justice not to ignore Sina's fate. He is a son and a friend who is only standing up for his freedom.

We demand the immediate release of Sina Shams and all political prisoners in Iran. It is time to send a strong signal to the Iranian government that the world is watching and that such human rights violations will not go unpunished.

Please help us to be the voice of his family. Let us stand together against this injustice and speak out for all innocent souls threatened by violent repression. Your signature can mean the difference between life and death.

Sign this petition to free Sina Shams and send a humanitarian message to the world: We stand for freedom and justice. Long live freedom!
