The Afghan government has announced it has released 116 prisoners to mark the end of Ramadan. Unfortunately their act of clemency didn’t include Peter. So we call on the Islamic Government of Afghanistan to extend their compassion and mercy at the end of this holy month and allow Peter to go home to his wife and family. As a converted muslim, eid al-Fitr is also a special time for him and we wish he could be spending it with his wife and children. We ask you to extend your compassion and release Peter.
