Update 09/20/17 Our son was admitted to the hospital last week, for only one week this time. We spent approx. $ 150 for one week, with only leaving and returning once a day and not every day. That does not leave much money for food, unfortunately. We are already not able to work and losing wages, not having a refrigerator in our room causes us to waste food and we can't stock up on very many cheap groceries. To gouge us at the hardest times of our lives is immoral, and should also be illegal. This is no different than the store down the street overcharging us for gas after a natural disaster. There are 120,000 babies born with a defect on average, in one year, which is a lot more casualties than we have during a natural disaster. This petition started was asking TMC to help parents with outrageous parking cost but since we started it, we realized the entire world is doing this to parents. I think this needs addressed at the Federal Government level. We are there helping our kids survive while the hospitals save money having someone watching our children. The appreciation we get is that we must pay to park to help them for free. The Westfall's Thank you so much for the support, we are at around 46,317!
