Nazila Maroufian, dal carcere di Evin: «Hanno abusato di me nelle peggiori condizioni, mentre venivo arrestata a casa mia». L’audio è disturbato. Si sente la voce tremare, si sentono le pause, i sospiri, i singhiozzi del pianto. Riusciamo ad ascoltarlo perché gli attivisti lo hanno postato sui social. Si tratta di una chiamata registrata in cui udiamo lo straziante racconto della giornalista di 23 anni che spiega che cosa le è successo dopo che mercoledì scorso è stata prelevata dalla sua casa di Teheran e arrestata per la quarta volta dall’inizio delle proteste. Anche se rinchiusa nella peggiore delle celle d’Iran — dove si trovano migliaia di dissidenti politici, giornalisti e artisti — Maroufian fa un’azione coraggiosa e molto pericolosa. Conferma la più grande delle paure delle ragazze e della famiglie iraniane: le guardie violentano. Era già stato detto che nelle carceri, gli adepti degli ayatollah stuprano uomini e donne come strumento di tortura. Una ragazza con cui abbiamo parlato raccontava che si tratta di una pratica così comune che molti genitori, quando fanno visita ai figli in prigione, portano pillole del giorno dopo, così da non rischiare gravidanze. In questi mesi, lo abbiamo letto e scritto, ma mai nessuna aveva avuto il coraggio di raccontarlo in questo modo. Faccio tutto questo per me stessa ma anche per tutte le donne che soffrono, perché è una cosa che succede, e chi non ne parla ha le sue ragioni ad avere paura, ma durante gli interrogatori, nelle stazioni di polizia, le persone vengono aggredite verbalmente e sessualmente». La giornalista di Saqqez è stata arrestata per un’intervista al padre di Mahsa Amini, per «propaganda contro il sistema», «diffusione di notizie false», per non indossare il velo. In questi mesi di proteste non ha mai ceduto alle minacce del regime che la vuole silenziare e ha continuato a denunciare sui social, guadagnandosi la fama di «coraggiosa». A soli dieci giorni dell’anniversario delle morte di Mahsa Amini — due giorni fa è stato arrestato lo zio — la morsa repressiva della Repubblica islamica si fa sempre più stretta. Aumentano le intimidazioni e le incarcerazioni. Si dice che gli ayatollah si stiano preparando al peggio: temono soprattutto le università.
