Lucy Connolly has been unfairly imprisoned, for a emotional tweet that she subsequently taken down, the tweet was made in anger and frustration at what happened in Southport in 2024. She obviously regretted the content of the tweet and yet was imprisoned for 31 months, much longer than other people committing much more serious offences. 

Her appeal has been denied on the technicality that she pleaded guilty and was given bad legal advice at the time of high anxiety within the UK.

This is a normal person, just like you and me , that let her emotions take control of her at the time of the whole nations disbelief in the actions of one individual, her actions did not actually insight any violence towards anyone of any race or creed.

Her recent appeal and rebuttable are on a purely technical legal grounds and take no account of the human, mother and wife that is Lucy Connolly.
