Hi everyone,
I just wanted to give a bit of an update and also say thank you.
Firstly, the support over the last few days has genuinely meant a huge amount to me and the family. We’ve now had confirmation that 120 people have written to MPs regarding Mum and Craig’s situation, which is honestly incredible. At a time where things feel very heavy and uncertain, knowing so many people care enough to take action helps more than I can properly put into words.
The reality is that things remain very serious. Mum and Craig are continuing their hunger strike and naturally there is a growing level of concern around their physical and mental wellbeing. As a family, we are deeply worried.
This morning I sent a further letter to the Government and consular officials stressing the urgency of the situation, particularly given the Embassy is now back operating in Iran. We are continuing to push for urgent welfare visits and meaningful engagement.
I know a lot of people are carrying worry, frustration and helplessness alongside us right now. Please know that none of your messages, emails, support, donations or efforts are unnoticed. They genuinely matter. Public pressure, compassion and people refusing to let this disappear quietly is one of the few things we do have.
At the same time, I want to say this clearly, we have not lost hope. Mum and Craig continue to show incredible resilience in unimaginably difficult circumstances and we have to continue matching that energy here.
Thank you all, sincerely, for continuing to stand with us.
