The family is demanding the new government move away from “quiet diplomacy” narratives. They fear that their commitment to Julian Assange has now slipped through the cracks.

Frustratingly, day by day passes with no visible action or slight positive affirmation.

Your efforts are resulting in John and Gabriel Shipton meeting multiple MPs and Senators on their Canberra trip to Parliament House in Australia. During their visit, they briefed the new representatives about the latest in Julian’s case during the visit. Independent MP, Andrew Wilkie joined them in a press conference, announcing the re-forming of the Bring Julian Assange Home Parliamentary Group.

The government must make efforts to move Julian Assange to “house arrest.” This is a simple request to uphold Julian’s rights to treat him as an innocent man before conviction. After all, this is a core international human right that UK and Australia both abide by.
