Hi All, The following update detail from Dr John Jiggens (JJ): "Monday, May 2 will be Brisbane's Mayday March. An Assange contingent will be marching with Julian's union the MEAA (Media, Entertainment and Arts Alliance). Julian needs us now. He's in prison for us, facing 175 years for publishing the truth about US war crimes. Come! Look for the Assange shirts and banners!
Anthony Albanese (an Opposition Leader ALP) will be there!
Let's be out in the streets for him. Walk up Wharf Street Brisbane until you get to the start of the march and wait there for the Assange contingent to march by!" JJ
This week coming: Our petition will be a feature connected to the Ithaka movie premier media event in Tasmania. Our petition will be presented to Andrew Wilkie MP. This is a strategic campaign event and follows on nicely from our campaigned mass parliamentarian email campaign. Which we started about 3 weeks ago. We are continually seeking to keep this matter in focus to Free Julian Assange.
