We got to see Joshua today. He gave me big and long hugs. That was wonderful. He was sitting up in the wheelchair when I arrived. He sat up for nearly an hour before getting back into bed.
He also ate well...six teaspoons of grits with salt, pepper and butter plus several spoons of yogurt and mashed potatoes with gravy. The speech therapist said he may move to more solid type food next week. So this was positive news.
The doctors think he's doing well on the chemo meds. and from a clinical perspective. He's still withdrawn a lot and under his blanket. He didn't talk today at all.
I know with family presence and love He would improve greatly. I miss him terribly. I told him to hang in there, keep working hard at therapies and keep the faith. We're looking for miracles.
I love you Joshua and I'm so proud of you. ❤️
