I've been a bit busy!

Before I update could I ask something of you please?  Signatures have started to slow down - which I understand as the sheer volume of supporters has just been incredible so far - but I'd love to get to 200,000 before the meeting on 26th February.  The only way that will happen is with more shares, more Tweets, more Instagram posts, more Facebook shares - in fact more of everything!  Please help!

So what have I been doing?  Well, in preparation for the meeting with Under-Secretary of State for Health & Social Care, Jo Churchill, I have put together a document that I hope sets out the case, supporting free dental care for all cancer patients.  I've outlined the main issues and barriers and then proposed several solutions.

In asking for free dental care for all cancer patients, I have proposed how this could work at very little/no cost but honestly, the whole system needs reviewing and modernising.  It's been a huge learning curve as I've had to learn how dental care is "financed" within the NHS and I can say that to an outsider looking in, the system is broken.  It's tied up using historical data and is actually driving dentists into the private care system.  Prior to this campaign, I thought this was a choice that dentists made to make more money but having reviewed how the system works, I seriously misjudged the situation.

Dentists now have my utmost admiration (although I will still quake in fear when I'm lying in that horrible chair)!

Please get your friends, family, colleagues and anybody else you know, to sign this Campaign.  If you're in any groups on Facebook for example, most Administrators will allow a link to be put in the group!  Thank you so much.
