Free Balochistan

Free Balochistan
The Issue
Balochistan’s struggle for independence dates back to 1948 when Pakistan forcibly annexed the region, despite the Baloch Kalat State declaring independence in 1947. Since then, multiple uprisings have occurred against Pakistani control, with the Baloch people resisting military operations and political suppression. Rich in resources like gas, minerals, and gold, Balochistan remains Pakistan’s most neglected province, with widespread poverty and underdevelopment. Human rights abuses, enforced disappearances, and military crackdowns have further fueled the demand for independence. A free Balochistan would allow its people to reclaim their sovereignty, govern themselves, and end decades of exploitation and oppression. Free Balochistan.
