On October 29,2018 Cleveland City Council passed legislation implementing a new commercial drop off policy Effective January 1st 2019 requiring all commercial transport vehicles from taxis to limos, Ubers and buses to drop off and pick up at the ground transportation center next to the smart parking garage hundreds of feet away from the recently updated terminals. This policy prevents private car companies from being able to provide one of their main services which is curbside service and help with luggage at the airport.This policy applies to everyone no matter the persons age or health.
