As the days come closer to reopening parents are signing petitions, writing letters and advocating in the media. Today alone several medical speakers including DR.Tam is opposed to the re-opening. Legault states we must open for our special needs, at risk kids and DPG/abuse cases. Reality is these children need a regular routine and no one is going to throw them in front of a bus that is moving with no concrete plan to stop. New teachers, new students, No playground, computers, gym, library and much more the reality most feel they can babysit their own children. They will educate their child preparing for the harsh realities of next year. Prepare, plan, organize and teach that is what our education should be doing to and not running around to fullfill unrealistic protocols and procedures. Parents and staff should be caring for their families and teachers should be reviewing material online with students. My Kindergartners are learning, dancing, interacting and exercising online in safety. Stop forcing everyone off the deep end there is enough going on already!
